The Vancouver International Airport
Located a few kilometers away from downtown Vancouver in the city of Richmond, Canada, the Vancouver International airport places second tot the Toronto Pearson International Airport for being the busiest airport in Canada. This airport boasts of several international awards for being the “best airport” as well as the title “Best North American Airport” in year 2007. In 2006, the airport set a record of 16.9M passengers. In history, it is known that Charles Lindbergh paved the way for the birth of this airport in the year 1927. He was a traveler who refused to have a Vancouver tour since the city lack a proper airport.

The Vancouver International Airport is the main hub of Air Canada, which happens to be the largest airline in Canada. It is also the primary hub of the low cost airline, WestJet Airlines Ltd. The airport consist of three terminals, which includes the domestic terminal constructed in 1968, the International terminal recently constructed 1990 as well as the South terminal who happens to be a part of the original terminal in this airport which serves flights mostly within British Columbia.
