It has bagged “Best Martini in Vancouver” award and is one of the most popular restaurants in Vancouver. It transports you to another era with its hand painted ceilings, velvet and fresh cut flowers. Established in 1985, it has gone straight into the hearts of Vancouver's residents.

This Victorian –looking place is blessed with a timeless charm. It boasts of private corner rooms, wall mounted lamps with glass shades and an old fashioned menu. The restaurant offers a 2- course and 4- course dinner. Cherubs dance on the ceiling, candles flicker on the tables and martini glasses clink during toasts at this jovially decadent West End spot.

The trademark martini list features more than thirty options. The seasonal menu may feature pumpkin tangerine soup, grilled beef tenderloin with chanterelles in Cinzano sauce, or grilled swordfish with blueberry- lemon compote. The tapas menu includes some trendy treats such as house- cured elk carpaccio. Main courses such as the grilled beef tenderloin on roast potatoes with veal stock, stilton, foie gras butter, and fresh horseradish are also worth trying.
