The Irish Heather

Located in the heart of historic Gastown this Gatropub has garnered many accolades for its service, food, alcohol and ambiance. In a world filled with “Plastic Paddy” establishments, the Heather stands out as a beacon of authenticity. It is an Irish House that is owned by Irish people who actually work there.

The food is a gourmet's delight and satisfies most taste buds. Whether its Kerry lamb or Limerick bacon, Cashel Blue cheese or Kerrygold butter, Galway salmon or Dublin Bay prawns, the quality is the best. It is not possible to import all their products from distant Ireland so they place reliance on their natural bounty. To maintain their Irish heritage, they rely on the best that is available locally.

A visit to any Irish joint is not complete without its superb drinks. The glassed in conservatory at the back makes an ideal venue to unwind. Its Irish brews are some of the best you will get in Vancouver.
