History of the Vancouver Sun
On February 12, 1912, the British Columbia has first published its daily newspaper. The Vancouver Sun originally operates within the same area where The Province ( a rival newspaper) conducts its operation. Tragic event in the Sun’s existence happened in 1924 where a fire destroyed the business and editorial offices. After this event, the Sun has moved to the World Building and was renamed after as Sun Tower. In 1997, the Sun has moved yet again this time at the Granville Square which is a popular tower in the Central Business District of Vancouver.
Sections of the Vancouver Sun
The main section of the sun is where you can find the top stories in the city s well as news around the globe. The other section includes their daily features and local news. It is in this section where you can read their Daily Special. It also has a Thursday Special where they publish the Westcoast Life, which is an entertainment tabloid. Vancouver Sun also has its Saturday special focusing in weekend review.
